Nick Doran Adams

Nick Doran Adams is a Melbourne-based glass artist originally from Ballarat, where he
continues to maintain strong ties to the city's vibrant arts and craft community. 

Working across small production lines, each piece is individually handmade using traditional
glassblowing techniques, ensuring every object is unique. Subtle variations in colour density,
pattern, and form reflect the character of the material and the craftsmanship behind each
work, resulting in functional and decorative glass pieces that are distinctive, collectible, and
one of a kind. His artistic practice explores nostalgia, memory, and material through glass.

Drawing inspiration from 8-bit video games, childhood experiences, and digital imagery, he combines traditional glassmaking techniques with contemporary ideas to transform familiar imagery and personal memories into unique glass objects.
